The Men Live At WFMU [Free Download of Live Recording]

Brooklyn Punks and admitted Tom Petty worshipers The Men have turned quite a few heads with the Americana elements that has been slipping into their music as of late. Their latest effort, this year's excellent New Moon, was even recorded on a farm in upstate New York (presumably around a campfire or two), and plenty of the songs have a rustic feel. This direction has of course proved polarizing with some of the band's long time fans, but I fun find the new direction very intriguing.

Whichever side of the fence you fall on, one thing that cannot be denied is that The Men know how to fucking shred, which is evident on this free live release The Men Live At WFMU which was recorded at the Jersey City based independent radio station.
