This summer, a double dose of female-fronted bands will be touring together.

Classic rock vets Blondie and alternative rock icons Garbage are teaming up for co-headlining dates that are being billed as Rage And Rapture. The opening bands on select dates will be Deap Vally and John Doe & Exene Cervenka from punk rock band X.

The North American shows are scheduled to begin on July 5 in California and travel coast-to-coast into August. According to Blondie's website, more dates will be added soon, so check back here when that information becomes available.
