Michigan’s Curtis Harding has released a new song titled “Wednesday Morning Atonement,” the second single from his upcoming LP Face Your Fear, which is slated for release on October 27. Check out the tune above, via YouTube.

Built on an ominous arrangement of chords and riffs, the song grooves to a mellow blend of quirky psychedelic elements and the singer's expressive vocals. Produced by Danger Mouse at his 30th Century Studio alongside Sam Cohen, the tune follows Harding's more uptempo June release “On and On.”

A detailed statement regarding Face Your Fear was published on the Anti Records website:

Harding fuels his psychedelic sound with the essence of Soul but isn’t bound by it. Instead, the 12 songs on the new album convey an eclectic blend of genres leaping from the many musical lives he has lived from following his evangelical Gospel-singing mother on tour as a child in Michigan to rapping in Atlanta, forming a garage band with The Black Lips’ Cole Alexander to singing back-up for Cee Lo Green. Through these experiences he fully embraces life’s darkest intricacies conjuring dynamic, addictive melodies.
