Foo Fighters have unveiled the third single from their upcoming studio LP Concrete and Gold, which is due out on September 15 via RCA Records. Check out "The Line" above, courtesy of the band's YouTube channel.

Robust guitar work and crashing drums set the stage for Dave Grohl's fervent vocal performance, which is rooted in cryptic lyrics that are both inspirational and unsettling. Grohl belts, "Break my bones, I don't care, All I ever wanted was a body to share, Heart's gone cold, Brush ran dry, Satellite searching for a sign of life, Like you... The tears in your eyes, Someday will dry, We fight for our lives, 'Cause everything's on the line, This time."

"The Line" follows "The Sky Is A Neighborhood" and "Run," the first two singles from the Greg Kurstin-produced Concrete and Gold. According to the RCA Records website, Dave Grohl "...wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that." Pre-order a copy of the album on Amazon

The Foo Fighters are scheduled to kick off an extensive US tour next month, and also recently announced 2018 Winter tour dates with Weezer in Australia and New Zealand. For concert tickets and more, check out the Foo Fighters Zumic artist page
