History was made today. We have the first music video that was (at least partially) recorded and produced in outer space. Chris Hadfield's "Space Oddity" originally written and performed by David Bowie:
This is fantastic.
First of all, the song sounds really good. "Space Oddity" is a song that can be perilous for other artists to attempt, as it combines challenging vocal lines with intricate songwriting and production. It sounds like auto-tune is in play here, but that works with the extremely hi-tech environment.
Second, the video is beautiful. The International Space Station is a pretty cool place. Some cool shots of Earth from space. Absolutely captivating.
