Weird Al Yankovic has announced 2019 North American tour dates that are being billed as 'Strings Attached: A Rock and Comedy Symphonic Experience.'

The master of musical satire will begin the concerts in June with each show featuring a range of classics and fan favorites.  What makes this tour special is that Al and his longtime backing band will be supported by a full symphony orchestra.  Also making the tour unique is the presence of backing vocalists Lisa Popeil, Monique Donnelly, and Scottie Haskell.

It will be weirdly classy to hear Weird Al's songs with strings in place of the synth that shaped his sound on many songs since his rise to fame in the '80s.
