Tedeschi Trucks Band have shared the first taste of Signs, their next studio album.  Listen to "Hard Case" above on YouTube.

Derek Trucks' skillful slide playing lays underneath passionate vocals led by Susan Tedeschi and Mike Mattison.  The upbeat track is elevated by bright horns and a warm, funky organ solo.  There are clear echoes of classic '60s and '70s pop-rock, but also the fresh and exploratory dimension that make TTB truly unique.

The band shared a comment about the record on their Facebook page saying, "Signs reflects on the losses suffered by the band in the past few years while still finding cause for hope and celebration in the beauty of life and nature."

The 11-track album was co-produced by Derek Trucks, Jim Scott, and Bobby Tis.  It was recorded at Susan and Derek's Swamp Raga Studios in Jacksonville, Florida, and is dedicated to Col. Bruce Hampton. Signs — the band's fourth studio album and first since 2016's excellent Let Me Get By is scheduled for release on February 15, 2019.

In addition to the song, TTB has announced an album release concert at Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York scheduled for February 20, 2019.  The band will also be heading out on a North American tour later this month.  For concert tickets and more, check out the Tedeschi Trucks Band Zumic artist page.
