Grunge rockers L7 have shared a new song titled "Burn Baby" along with a music video.  Watch it above on YouTube.

"Burn Baby" features the band's hallmark chugging guitars, attitude-filled vocals, smashing drums, and clever songwriting.  Directed by Courtney and Hillary Andujar, the video shows the band rocking out the song in a hellish landscape that includes plenty of fire and tongue-in-cheek spooky vibes.

The song will be on L7's upcoming album, Scatter The Rats, which is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019 through Joan Jett's Blackheart Records.  Singer and guitarist Donita Sparks spoke about the album and Joan Jett in a statement shared with Spin:

When we decided to make a new record, Joan was there for us as the good friend she has always been... So great to stomp into Blackheart Records with her at the helm.  We’re very excited to work with Joan and the entire Blackheart family.  Just imagine the family dinners!

The group reunited in 2014, after a 13-year hiatus.  However, over the past 5 years they have only released two new singles: "Dispatch From Mar-a-Lago" and "I Came Back To Bitch."  In 2017, they put out an archival live album recorded in Detroit from 1990.  The band will head out on Rancid's The Bash Music & Craft Beer touring festival beginning in May.  For concert tickets and more, check out L7's Zumic artist page.
