At the May 30 MusiCares Benefit Concert in Los Angeles, the show kept with the theme of combining big acts to perform in the name of charity. In this case, Stone Temple Pilots, with new frontman Chester Bennington of Linkin Park fame, joined forces with Slash and Duff McKagan to perform David Bowie's "All the Young Dudes." While the performance was less than spectacular, with Bennington looking like the only one who actually cared, it's an interesting sight to see all these performers play together. Especially since Bennington replaced Scott Weiland, who was also the frontman for Slash and McKagan's group, Velvet Revolver. So in some ways, this may be seen as a double-betrayal, which makes things a little more interesting.
