Wilco spread the message of love on their new song "Love Is Everywhere (Beware)." Listen above on YouTube.

The warm track creates a relaxed vibe with acoustic guitar strumming, before electric guitar and rapid-fire drum fills pick up the pace. Frontman Jeff Tweedy's wistful vocals proclaim "Right now, love is everywhere" but with measured realism in the descriptions of meanness, sadness, and riots. In these turbulent social and political times, "Love Is Everywhere (Beware)" is an uplifting anthem with Wilco's signature bittersweet undercurrent.

Jeff Tweedy talked about the upcoming record in a statement shared by NPR:

The record is, in a weird way, an ode... This terrible stuff is happening, this deepening sense of creeping authoritarianism that weighs on everybody's psyche on a daily basis, and you're allowed to feel a lot of things at once. And one thing that is worth feeling, that is worth fighting for, is your freedom to still have joy even though things are going to shit.

The track will be on Wilco's upcoming 11th studio album, titled Ode to Joy, which is scheduled for release on October 4. The LP includes 11 new songs written and produced by Jeff Tweedy, recorded at Wilco's Loft studio in Chicago earlier this year. Pick it up on Amazon.

The band will head out on a tour through Europe in September then return to the states in October. For concert tickets and more, check out Wilco's Zumic artist page.
