The Black Crowes are back!
Centered around brothers Chris and Rich Robinson (pictured above), the band have been on hiatus since 2015. Approaching the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, they announced 2019-2020 concerts in which they will perform that album in its entirety plus hit songs.
This week, the reunion begins with special performances at small venues in New York City and Los Angeles. The full 40+ date tour is scheduled to run from June to September of 2020, with stops at big outdoor venues across North America.
When do Black Crowes 2019-2020 tour tickets go on sale?
Tickets for all concerts are currently on sale, with no presales happening. For the NYC and LA events, tickets will be available at the Bowery Ballroom box office and the former Tower Records store on Sunset Boulevard.

The revamped Black Crowes lineup features the Robinson brothers with guitarist Isiah Mitchell, bassist Tim LeFebvre, drummer Ojha, and keyboardist Joel Robinow. Since 2001, the band has gone through a series of breakups and lineup changes, and their last extended tour was in 2013.
Since then, Chris has kept active with bands like New Earth Mud, As the Crow Flies, Phil Lesh & Friends, and the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, while Rich has also been involved in a number of musical projects, most notably The Magpie Salute with Black Crowes alumni Marc Ford, Sven Pipien, and Eddie Harsch (the last of whom passed away in 2016).
Chris spoke about the band in an interview with Rolling Stone:
I think this is pure. We went off into a lot of things. There’s no jamming... There’s no extraneous stuff. This is the purest Black Crowes that people first [heard] … I hope we reconnect with some people who lost their way with us because of all of our other shit we were doing
