Last night The Lumineers performed their song "Stubborn Love" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Appropriately, Fallon introduced the group in a full chicken costume, a clear homage to the all-clucking cover of The Lumineer's song "Ho Hey" he performed with, Blake Shelton, Nick Offerman and Chris Tartaro on Late Night a couple of weeks ago. Clearly The Lumineers are good sports (the cover was pretty darn funny).

Not many other groups can say they have a celloist in their midsts, which it's unfortunate, because Neyla Pekarek rocks it, and her contributions are very possibly what makes The Lumineers' sound so unique. Her vocals complement Wesley Schultz' nicely on the chorus, and give each tune just a little more depth.

The fivesome performed "Stubborn Love" with passion, and the song sounded just as a beautiful as the recording, maybe even more so. The Lumineers have officially been added to my list of bands to try to see live.

(Schultz may also be the only person in the world still permitted to wear a fedora in public — somehow, he didn't look like a tool at all.)

After you check out the performance, take a look at the all-clucking version of "Ho Hey." I promise it's worth it. I mean, Nick Offerman.
