Last night at the TD Garden, the Rolling Stones treated Bostonians to a rare performance of "Memory Motel," a song off their 1976 album Black and Blue. According to the Stones' website, the song is "seldom played" during live shows, but in an online poll, fans in Boston requested that it be a part of the setlist for that night. The lyrics to the song include a reference to Boston, which may explain their obscure choice. Despite having to dig deep into their catalog, the Stones came through in classic fashion, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards trading off vocals throughout the song.

They will be heading to Philadelphia for two shows on June 18th and 21st, and then to Washington, D.C. for a show on the 24th to round out the American leg of their 50 & Counting tour. You can purchase tickets for the shows here.
