Empire of the Sun performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday on the special outdoor stage. The Australian electronic duo is definitely a group that needs to be seen live to really be understood. And even then, you may just end up more confused. Assuming the identities of their alter-egos, Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore, the dance party and fancy hat celebration provided for an interesting show. The drummer definitely wins the "best hat" award though.
