Brooklyn-based dream pop act St. Lucia, aka the South African Jean-Philippe Grobler, has released a single from his upcoming album When The Night, which is set to drop on October 8th via Neon Gold. Considering he shares his stage name with a tropical island, it's no surprise that Neon Gold calls the track "the summer anthem you've been waiting your whole life for." If you've never heard a synth shimmer before, "Elevate" is a great primer. Its glossy keyboards and funky, disco-inspired bass line, combined with Grobler's upbeat vocals, make Passion Pit look dull. Give the track a listen and see for yourself.
St. Lucia will make an appearance at Lollapalooza in August and will be touring the US with Two Door Cinema Club this fall. Check out his full tour schedule on Facebook.
