Last year, Seattle-based composer, producer and songwriter Jherek Bischoff released his debut solo record entitled Composed which featured an impressive guest list comprised of members of bands like Wilco, Deerhoof and Parenthetical Girls, as well as some guy named David Byrne. Check out the video for the aforementioned Mr. Byrne's contribution, "Eyes", below:

"Eyes" features a psychedelic, close up look at the faces of Mr. Byrne and a Seattle orchestra, as well as the various stringed instruments used throughout the song, of which there are many. The cuts and pacing of the video are suited perfectly for the stringed waltz of a song, as is Byrne's unique vocal inflection.

Bischoff is an interesting talent whose proficiency on several instruments is pretty amazing, and as such Composed is a very interesting record. The album was originally written on ukele and then fleshed out by Bischoff alone, who utilized his talents on guitar, banjo, stand-up bass, cello and violin as well as his production skill to achieve the lush, orchestral sound of the album.
