Electronic/bellydancing trio Beats Antique's will be releasing their new album, A Thousand Faces - Act 1, on October 15. For the part of the devil on this concept album, they enlisted the help of Primus frontman, Les Claypool. "Beelzebub" features Claypool's unique vocal and bass playing styles, bringing a dark madness to the song. Beats Antique's David Satori said this about Claypool:

"I feel like he plays the bass like he’s the devil incarnate. He’s Lucifer on the bass and looks like him a little bit. He’s one of the most inspirational artists we grew up listening to. This is a concept album and we’ve been collaborating with Les for years after we went on tour with him in 2010. This was a perfect opportunity to invite him to be part of this concept album and play the devil in our hero’s journey."

Listening to "Beelzebub," you can see what he means. It's dark, evil, and the bass is, as always with Claypool, intense.
