"Tamale" - Tyler, The Creator [YouTube Official Video]

Hip-hop hooligans Odd Future have a history of making wacky, nonsensical music videos, but this new one from Tyler, the Creator might take the cake. "Tamale" features Tyler using a woman's voluptuous rear end as a trampoline, playing golf in his boxers, riding a cat, jerking off while reading an oversized book, and wearing whiteface makeup. Despite the lewdness of many of those acts, they apparently weren't the most inflammatory footage originally contained in the video, as this 10 second-long message appears midway through to explain:

We can't even begin to imagine what was meant to appear in those 10 seconds.

The "Tamale" video also features cameos from Trash Talk's Lee Spielman, Odd Future's Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis. Pharrell appears as the drummer of a two-man band that accompanies Tyler in the video's second half, when the rapper pulls a complete 180 and goes from making dick jokes to pondering the consequences of calling his long-estranged father. It's an abrupt transition to say the least, but then again Tyler has made a career out of erasing the line between self-parody and self-examination.
