Snoop (Dogg, Lion, or 'zilla, whichever you prefer) hosted last night's BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta, and mostly addressed the crowd from a plush white throne. But for a few minutes, the Los Angeles rap veteran took the stage to briefly transform the entire venue into "Club Snoopadelic" and DJ for a few of his so-called "nephews," rappers Yo Gotti, Rocko and Rich Homie Quan.
Blazing through of-the-moment hits "Act Right," "U.O.E.N.O." and "Type of Way," DJ Snoopadelic appeared to relish the rare opportunity of performing "on the ones and twos" as opposed to his usual position as an MC. Our only complaint would be that he relied a little heavily on air horn sound effects, but overall it wasn't bad for his first televised DJ performance. Also, he should really consider opening a real-life Club Snoopadelic, because we'd totally go there all the time.
