Linkin Park has released an official music video for their single, "A Light That Never Comes," featuring Steve Aoki. The song is set to appear on Linkin Park's new remix album Recharged, due out on October 29th.

"A Light That Never Comes" is a dance song, vastly different from anything the band has previously released. Still similar is the lyrical back and forth between the rapping Mike Shinoda and lead vocalist Chester Bennington, but otherwise the band's rock roots are all but forgotten in favor of dubstep beats and an entirely electronic background. For a dance single, the song is positively loud and very catchy thanks to Aoki's beats, but the massive shift in tone might be divisive among Linkin Park fans.

The video however is much more in line with the band's tone. Futuristic, sci-fi 3D figures dominate a blue and black landscape in an explosion of imagery that feels constantly reminiscent of the movie TRON. Overall the light show is impressive, and the making of feature immediately following the video helps to highlight the work that went into creating it.
