Formed in LA, Panama is a five piece band led by Sydney-based Australian Jarrah McCleary. The band, who describe their sound as "hopeful house," focus on haunting lo-fi vocals and funky synth sounds. Classically trained in piano, McCleary contributes many soulful piano sections throughout their music.

Now, on the heals of the October 3rd release of Panama's second EP Always, Classixx have remixed its title track. "Always," in its original form, featured McCleary's piano throughout. In the Classixx remix though, the piano has been stripped, making room for playful synths that sound fit for a video game. The meshing of Panama's original sound with the remix style of Classixx sounds a bit like London Grammar's "Hey Now" meets Goodwill & Hook N Sling's "Take Me Higher."

You can purchase Panama's EP on their Bandcamp site at a price you choose. Classixx are on tour in the US now through the middle of November.
