As part of Pearl Jam Week on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes joined drummer Neal Morgan and Grizzly Bear's Daniel Rossen for a cover of Pearl Jam's "Corduroy." This performance marks Pecknold's first TV appearance in almost two years, and it also represents a break from the lush harmonies he and Fleet Foxes are known for. Instead, the trio stayed closer to Pearl Jam's sound, with Pecknold and Rossen layering tense, distorted guitar riffs over Morgan's heavy drumbeats. Although Pecknold's voice is definitely a departure from the grizzled drawl of Eddie Vedder, he delivers a powerful vocal performance overall. Check it out in the video above.
