"Raiders vs Hawks," released this summer, saw RiFF RAFF pairing with erstwhile Waka Flocka Flame producer Lex Luger to create a nice slice of sports-referencing trap music. Now the song has a video that features RAFFy fraternizing with some video honeys while clad in typically outlandish garb (except when he's shown topless in a bathtub).

With a repetitive hook of, "I should'a played for the Raiders, I should'a played for the Hawks," the song may come off as inane to some, but fans of RiFF RAFF will appreciate his verses, especially the following quatrain:

"My lemonade is sprayed with the codeine
I did a lot of drugs, but I'm not a dope fiend
Maybe I am, I'm flippin' candy yams
Pontiac Trans Am, my wrist Toucan Sam"

It's this type of free-associative, contradictory rapping that keeps our cornrowed friend afloat in the rap game now that the buzz about his wacky persona has pretty much died down. There's also the fact that Diplo signed him to Mad Decent, the label that will release his debut album Neon Icon on January 28th.

Stay tuned for more news on RiFF RAFF's upcoming release, and if you like hearing him rap about sports, check him out in Migos' video for "Jumpin' Out the Gym."
