Warpaint are an all-girl four piece from L.A. who specialize in making smokey psychedelic rock. They recently stopped by BBC Radio 6's Maida Vale studio for a brief interview and live set, which you can now stream above.

The band members spend most of the time talking to host Steve Lamacq about their upcoming, self-titled album, and play new songs "Love is to Die," "Intro" and "Keep It Healthy." They're all foreboding, dark tracks that showcase greater nuance than anything on Warpaint's previous EP and album, thanks in part to Stella Mozgawa's intricate, mathy drumming.

Stream the studio version of "Love is to Die" on YouTube, and preorder Warpaint (due out on January 21st) on Rough Trade's official website.
