Live from the Artists Den is a TV series that features bands performing in unorthodox locations. This video of Phoenix playing "S.O.S. In Bel Air," a snippet from the show's upcoming season premiere, was shot in a high school located in Austin, Texas.

Fittingly, the French band bring their A-game to this gym, displaying energy that may not necessarily be audible on their studio recordings. While performing this song, we're willing to bet that the band's touring drummer burned upwards of 500 calories with his wildly flailing arms constantly criss-crossing his body. Frontman Thomas Mars makes up for not playing any instruments by bouncing excitedly around the stage and straining his voice a little more than usual. But seriously guys, is this an aerobics contest?

Stay tuned for the seventh season of Live from the Artists Den, and visit Phoenix's Zumic artist page for more music, news and current tour dates.
