Run The Jewels' El-P and Dave Sitek (of TV on the Radio) have been knocking around the same borough of NYC (Brooklyn) for the last 10+ years, but today marks the first time they've crossed paths musically. Sitek has just offered up a remix of Run The Jewels' "Sea Legs" that will be included on the European release of Run The Jewels' self-titled debut. Stream and download it above.

Beginning with drum programming reminiscent of Sufjan Stevens' "I Walked," Sitek's version could very well pass as the cleanest El-P beat to date, borrowing the legendary producer's signature blend of distorted synths and psychedelic boom-bap. Sitek adds some of the sheen that's been a hallmark of his production work for artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wale and Santigold, and the result is a pleasing balance between abrasiveness and sweetness.

Run The Jewels will be released in Europe by Big Dada on January 13th. Head over to Run The Jewels' Zumic artist page for more music, videos and news.
