Legendary Chicago pop-punks The Lawrence Arms have released a new music video for "Seventeener (17th and 37th)," a cut from the upcoming Metropole, their first full-length studio record since 2006's Oh! Calcutta!.

Frontman and bassist Brenden Kelly told Spin that the new album captures "that alone-in-a-crowd, stranger-in-a-strange-land kind of shit -— a feeling of such weird solitude that you don't even know what's up and what's down 'cause you're so caught in the wake of the city."

The song's sound and lyrics are wistful -- coming to terms with getting older is never easy for punk rockers -- but the video is hilarious. It sees the band dress up as country bumpkins and get dropped in the heart of Los Angeles, and in search of their new identities, they dress up as butt-rockers, Social Distortion-style SoCal punks, and even Juggalos. The video is worth a watch just to see Brendan Kelly in clown paint. Check it out above.

Metropole will be out January 18th and is currently available for pre-order through Epitaph Records.

The band will also be embarking on a short tour in support of the record, kicking off in Scottsdale, AZ on Valentine's Day.
