Snoop Lion is transformed into a video game character in his new video for "Get Away." Produced by Major Lazer, and featuring Angela Hunte, the track displays Snoop's melodic style as he sings throughout its entirety. The dope production by Lazer gives Snoop's singing a boost, as the electronic beat has a sick, mid-tempo bounce to it.
The video game format of the video is impressive, taking it back to the days of 8-bit Mega Man-style characters. Riding on hover boards, blasting rockets, and stage advancements are all included to give the visual the authentic gaming look. "Got to get away, to a place I love," Snoop croons on the chorus, with Angela Hunte following after on the hook's bass drop.
"Get Away" is featured on Snoop Lion's REINCARNATED album, which was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Reggae Album of 2013. For Snoop Lion's latest music, news, and tour dates, check out his Zumic artist page.
