Late last October, Duck Sauce shared an hour-long mix called the "Duck Tape," and now they've posted four individual tracks from the mix on SoundCloud, dubbing them Duck Droppings. This is the first time they're available outside the mix, and as a bonus, all are free to download.

Like most of Duck Tape, the tracks on Duck Droppings reflect disco through the lens of contemporary dance music, updating older tracks for neon-tutu-and-candy-bracelet-clad audiences. Among a myriad of obscure samples, the only instantly recognizable one is found on "Louie the First." The track is basically a straight-up remix of Hot Chocolate's "Brother Louie" (best known as the theme song to HBO's Louie), and the brothers Duck do an excellent job of souping up the funky track, leaving it nearly devoid of any association to Louie C.K.'s many neuroses.

All in all, Duck Droppings would make a welcome addition to most party playlists (especially with its price tag of $0.00). Listen to Duck Sauce's most recent original song, "It's You," right here on Zumic.
