Above, check out Scott Melker's latest production, "Show Me Pound Cake." The track is born from Drake's "Pound Cake," a song featuring Ellie Goulding and Jay-Z from his 2013 album Nothing Was The Same.
On Melker's re-working of what he calls "one of the hottest beats that I have heard in a long time," he modulates Goulding's fluttering and slightly indiscernible vocals to match the pitch of the original track. The addition of Kid Ink's "Show Me" over an extremely groovy bass line makes for one hell of a mash-up. Props to my boy Scott on this one.
