Avicii's official music video for "Addicted To You" dropped today on YouTube, and it's pretty awesome. The song comes from the Swedish producer and DJ's 2013 album, True.

Musically, it's an interesting mix contemporary electronic dance music with throwback pop vocals performed by Audra Mae, and traditional folk guitar & piano parts. The song has a couple moments that remind me of classic Beatles tunes: The breathy singing during the first verse reminds me of John Lennon's vocals on "Because" from Abbey Road, and the guitar toward the end is reminiscent of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" from The White Album.

Spoiler alert: The video follows an outlaw lesbian couple as they go around robbing and cuddling. It's like Bonnie & Clyde might be like if it was a female same-sex kind of thing. Beautifully shot, and the pictures match the music perfectly. Also some interesting shots of old men drinking alcohol. The song works on many levels, without trying too hard or taking itself too seriously.
