Two of electronic music's pioneers, Underworld's Karl Hyde and the always-active Brian Eno, are linking up for a joint album under the moniker Eno • Hyde. Above, listen to "The Satellites," the first single from the upcoming Someday World, out May 6th on Warp Records.

Prominently featuring what sound like MIDI horns, the relatively poppy song also boasts contributions from Eno's daughter, Darla, and his old Roxy Music bandmate Andy Mackay. "The Satellites" paints a sonic picture of retro-futurism, seeming to portray a vision of the future from the lens of the '80s. It almost sounds like it could be the theme song from a long-lost pilot of a scrapped sci-fi show, albeit with some modern mastering to make it sound incredibly crisp and polished. Whatever the case, May 6th is now definitely marked on our calendars.
