"Easy (Switch Screens)" - Son Lux & Lorde [YouTube Audio + Lyrics] | Zumic

Last year, Son Lux (AKA songwriter / producer Ryan Lott) released the thrilling album Lanterns, and now he's posted the Alternate Worlds EP, which contains remixes of Lanterns tracks, on his Bandcamp page. One of these remixes, "Easy (Switch Screens)," features vocals by teen pop sensation Lorde. Take a listen above.

Covering decidedly more avant-garde territory than her debut album dealt with, Lorde shows she's not a one trick pony. Her pitch-manipulated vocals swirl woozily around the tribal beat and horn squeaks that punctuate "Easy," with some new lyrics and a freeform guitar breakdown making this an exceptionally exciting remix. Interestingly enough, this isn't Lorde's first encounter with this song, as she covered it in concert earlier this year.
