The Men released a music video for their Tomorrow's Hits track "Pearly Gates." The song is reminiscent of The Replacements, with singer Nick Chiericozzi channeling Paul Westerberg. The Men jam on one chord for the entire six minutes with a saxophone wailing in the background. It is a song you'd imagine playing at a bar when a fight breaks loose and has to be broken up by Patrick Swayze.
The music video is shot in the style of a '70s grindhouse film, complete with a cheesy green screen effect and gritty film quality. Even the font of the title is spot on. The video follows a lone driver being chased by a policeman on a motorcycle, picking up a hitchhiker, and performing a cult ritual in a rundown motel. Check it out above.
Tomorrow's Hits is in stores now, but you can also stream it here on Zumic.
