One-woman cabaret Amanda Palmer took advantage of her recent time in Australia by stringing up streamers at the Sydney Opera House and playing an inspirational anthem dedicated to $20 ukuleles.
The song acted as both a tribute to great musicians and a call-to-arms for everyone to make art. With shout-outs to Sid Vicious who "probably killed his girlfriend" and John Lennon, the song is funny and charming in typical Palmer style, but she makes her point. Why not teach everyone to play the ukulele? After all, it only takes "about an hour." Check out the video above.
