Soulful New Hampshire native Ray LaMontagne, has just released his very first music video in his musical career for his soon-to-be-released fifth album, Supernova.
The music video is for the title track "Supernova", off of his upcoming album. The song has a '70s feel and the animated music video follows suit. All of the characters are donned out in the typical '70s retro fashion, yet they live in a futuristic era.
LaMontagne spoke with the Huffington Post on using animator Lucy Dyson to help him create his first music video. "I was instantly taken with her Terry Gilliam-esque use of layered, ragged cut-out images. To me that was the anchor. A familiar place for my imagination to leap from."
