Baltimore synth-rock duo Wye Oak just released a fun new music video for their single "The Tower" from their upcoming fourth studio album, Shriek.
"The Tower" is a guitar-free tune, driven mostly by melancholy vocals and a pulsating synth. The video abandons the notion of a downtrodden laboring class as we follow two dancing painters and a group of frolicking factory workers as they twirl through an empty warehouse. The entire spectacle is whimsical, surreal and sure to put a smile on your face.
Shriek is out April 29th on Merge Records and is currently available for preorder on Amazon and iTunes.
