"Disorder" - Fucked Up (The Ugly Cover) [SoundCloud Audio Stream]

Fucked Up continue to cement their status as a prolific and versatile punk rock band. Last week, they released the style skipping title track for their upcoming 12", Year Of The Dragon, and now they've shared a B-side track.

The song is a faithful cover of of The Ugly's fierce 1970s cut "Disorder," an Oi-style rocker that was representative of the band's fury and madness. Fucked Up keep the song in the same spirit, with raw guitars, loose drums, and Pink Eyes' harsh, rage-fueled vocals. While the sprawling 18-minute "Year Of The Dragon" bounces between a variety of genres, this track is a snapshot of the late '70s punk scene in Toronto. Listen above.
