Katy Perry has just released the music video for "Birthday," the new single off her latest album, PRISM. Watch above as Perry shows off her acting chops, attending several birthday parties undercover in full costume and makeup (excellent work by Casey Storm and Tony Gardner, respectively) to unknowing suspects. She works each party as a different type of entertainer, including as an elderly gogo dancer, a bumbling emcee at a bar mitzvah, an alcoholic clown, a wild animal trainer, and a snobby face-painting princess. The video, directed by Marc Klasfeld and Danny Lockwood, is a lot of fun, and it's entertaining to watch Perry improvise her interactions with the oblivious public. We would definitely watch a Katy Perry sketch show.
