Foster the People took the stage on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to perform "Best Friend" off their most recent album, Supermodel. Check out the video above.

The performance kicked off with some sweet dance moves by lead singer Mark Foster, and was accompanied by a children's choir. True to Foster the People form, the band juxtaposed this lyrically mature song with an upbeat and energetic show. Even though it was a little jarring to hear kids singing about their strung out best friends, the choir added a great panache to the live version. The entire performance was a lot of fun; Mark Foster looked like he was truly enjoying himself and the kids were very charismatic.
