On May 4th, Kurt Vile was the featured musical guest on Australian rock themed quiz show RocKwiz. He performed two songs, the first a cover of Neil Young's "Albuquerque" featuring Alpine vocalist Phoebe Baker, and the second a song off his most recent studio album Wakin On A Pretty Daze entitled "Snowflakes are Dancing." Watch the performances below.

Vile showcased his folkier side while performing "Albuquerque," a song off of Neil Young's album Tonight's The Night, considered a fan favorite. He came out with an acoustic guitar and even a slight twang in his voice. The song begins with a blend of electric guitar and Kurt Vile's acoustic and grows into a full out rock crescendo with help from the RocKwiz Orkestra, the backing band for all musical performances on RocKwiz. He performed this as a duet with Australian musician Phoebe Baker, who provided lovely harmonies and sang a verse.

On "Snowflakes are Dancing" Vile used his electric guitar and brought back his chilled out rock mixed with folk vibe that he demonstrated on Wakin On A Pretty Daze.
