Indie singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco is the subject of a new documentary -- er, "Macumentary" -- by Pitchfork, somewhat disgustingly entitled "Pepperoni Playboy." The 34-minute film follows Mac and his band on tour in China and explores their Brooklyn-based Jizz Jazz recording studio. Watch it above.

For the entirety of the video, DeMarco and his band showcase their unique brand of absurdist humor, which includes, but is certainly not limited to blowing E-cigarette smoke through sheep skulls, perusing playing card-sized flyers for Chinese prostitutes, and drawing an unlikely parallel between DeMarco's song "Let Her Go" and "Tale as Old as Time" from Disney's Beauty & The Beast. DeMarco and Co. know how to entertain, and "Pepperoni Playboy" gives them a great platform to do so.

Pitchfork's YouTube Channel describes the video as follows:

Directed by Jon Leone, Pepperoni Playboy, a 34-minute "macumentary" shot in part by DeMarco and bandmate Pierce McGarry, follows Mac as he hams it up on tour in China, shows off his Jizz Jazz Studios in Brooklyn, and takes the piss out of DIIV and Bon Iver. Along the way, he shows us "how to make acoustic guitars rock," gives hot tips to aspiring young indie rockers, and pulls off a shower scene not unlike the one in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, if it happened on a toilet.
