Mike Patton's strange and wonderful Tomahawk released a new 7" last week, and now "M.E.A.T." is available to stream online.

The track is a cacophonous orgy of rock sounds. The Dead Kennedys-style bassline leads the way into the song's first section, which is reminiscent of Patton's Mr. Bungle days. His unmistakable vocals soar above Duane Denison's ringing guitar during the verses, before the terrifying chorus rips it straight back into punk rock territory. Layers of noises and vocals and ethereal effects keep it from being a straight-up rock song, but anything that Patton touches is going to be a bit weird. Listen to the track above.

The 7" is out now on Ipecac, and you can purchase it at Amazon.
