Last night, Jhené Aiko premiered "To Live & Die" featuring Cocaine 80s on iTunes.

Joined by her Cocaine 80s cohorts, Aiko sings beautifully over smooth No I.D. production and background vocals from James Fauntelroy. The two compliment Aiko's silky voice to make for both a smooth and intricate track. In the song, Aiko is telling a potential lover that she is going to go all out for love, even if it means she may end up hurt. She does a play on a Snoop Dogg line from "Americaz Most Wanted" when she says, "Cause where I'm from we live by the love, die by the love." She also references "Many Men" by 50 Cent in the second verse.

Cocaine 80s is comprised of 8 artists brought together by accomplished producer No I.D., who recently became the Executive Vice-President at Def Jam. Aiko is a frequent contributor to the collective, and has worked on an individual basis with singer James Fauntelroy and guitarist Steve Wyerman.

Jhené said in an interview with Singer's Room in 2012, "Me and the Cocaine 80s is made up of musicians, singers and producers. I told them I wanted to be a part of the Cocaine 80s. I wanted to be the female voice of the group. They will be featured on Souled Out. Yes, we are definitely working on a mixtape or album together. That is definitely in the works."

"To Live & Die" will live on the Los Angeles native's upcoming album, Souled Out. The release date is unknown at this point in time. Jhené will be performing in her hometown Los Angeles at the 2014 BET Awards this Sunday, June 29 at 8PM EDT. Hopefully she'll perform "To Live & Die" live.
