Tech N9ne opened last night's performance with a live rendition of "Fragile," from 2013's Something Else. N9ne had his Strange Music entourage, including Krizz Kaliko and ¡Mayday!, in full force with him on Kimmel's stage. He ignited the performance with his characteristic speed-driven rapping style, spitting words out with intense velocity and masterful pronunciation. He was accompanied onstage by Kendall Morgan who sang the hook on the original recording. All of the contributors to the studio version of "Fragile" were in attendance except for Kendrick Lamar. The performance continued on unaffected while the audience enthusiasm demanded by the performers was met with some to spare.

N9ne prefaced the second track he performed with a dedication to his late mother, who past away from lupus just two weeks ago. The sentimental moment served as a brief quiet before the storm when he shouted, "Made it ma! Top of the world!" The clip suffers from a bit of censorship and silent gaps due to the profanity appearing in the song, but N9ne went on to deliver a high energy performance of "He's A Mental Giant," from 2011's All 6's and 7's The end of the video featured a coda where N9ne utilized his trademark chopper style of rapping before the performers left Kimmel's audience applauding.
