While on tour, LA rock band Eels stopped at Seattle's KEXP to perform a set before their show at the Moore Theater. The video includes interview segments with host Morgan. Watch above.

They start off with "Saturday Morning," then talk about the elusive Steve Perry joining them on stage in recent shows (St. Paul, D.C., and LA).

Singer Mark Oliver Everett gets personal following "Where I'm From," a track from their latest release, The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett. He explains how the album delves into both his adolescence and adult life--mistakes he's made that he seeks to share with fans as a learning experience. They go on to play another new song called "Mistakes of My Youth."

Finally, the band leave us with "My Beloved Monster," a song about an imaginary companion that protects you from "a world that's so mean," and it's beautiful.

Order The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett now on Amazon. For more band info and tour dates, check out their official website.
