Austin favorites Spoon have just released the second single from their upcoming eighth studio album, They Want My Soul.
"Do You" is a chilled-out romp through the decades, pulling influences from old-school garage, power pop, and '90s alternative. Catchy vocal harmonies lay the foundation for the song, with enough "doos" and "ooohs" to rival Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life." The bed of guitars sit nicely in the background and the track fades out with muffled humming and ambient sounds. Check it out above.
