London-based folk singer Ben Howard took to Scotland's T in the Park music festival this past Saturday night for a performance at the King Tut Tent.

The sixth song from the nine-track performance was "Only Love" from his 2012 debut album, Every Kingdom. The 27-year-old set the crowd in motion when he began the opening riff on his acoustic guitar. As soon as the singing started, the audience chanted along and during the melodica interlude, the crowd held down the pulse of the song with their clapping.

The downtempo bridge dispersed an air of tranquillity amongst the audience as they were gathered up in Scotland this past weekend. The electric guitar soared and the rhythm section -- comprised of a bassist, drummer and keyboardist -- pounded along, yet never sacrificed Howard's characteristic acoustic qualities.

Arms waved along as Howard moved rhythmically to the sound of his own band. Throughout the climax as well as the bass riff over the bridge, the performance never offered a dull moment, and the band leaped across a huge spectrum of dynamics. The coda featured Howard singing a capella while metronomically tapping out a rhythm on the body of his acoustic guitar. The final seconds of the video show the audience singing the coda, mirroring the singer's every word.
