Today, Lana Del Rey released the video for the title track off her fourth studio album. Watch "Ultrviolence" above, via YouTube.
Del Rey takes a simplistic route for this video. Dressed in vintage wedding garb, Lana and an anonymous cameraman merely walk through a garden and end up at the alter of an empty church. Keeping up with the retro trend -- like in her "Shades of Cool" video -- the soft visuals for "Ultraviolence" almost look like the whole thing was shot through the "1977" Instagram filter. Even though she's romanticizing her abuser in her lyrics, Del Rey perfectly portrays the role of blushing bride for this video.
