On April 25th, 2014, Bleeding Rainbow stopped by KEXP to play four songs from their latest record, Interrupt. The album was released this year on February 25th by Kanine Records.

Interrupt is the second studio album released by Bleeding Rainbow. Before the project expanded into a four piece band, Rob Garcia and Sarah Everton played together under the name Reading Rainbow. The original members are the stars of the group, taking turns on lead vocals. Everton sings on the first two tracks, "Dead Head" and "So You Know," her voice creating a more mellow sound. When Garcia takes the mic, the band plays with a little more of a punk edge. Some of the best moments are when the two vocalists harmonize together, especially on the final song of the set, "Start Again."

Between songs, Everton and Garcia discussed diving straight into Bleeding Rainbow's second album. Garcia talks about how most of the songs on Interrupt were written while the band was still on tour promoting their album, Yeah Right. During the interview, Garcia says, "From our point of view, we wanted to follow up Yeah Right as soon as possible to put Yeah Right in context a little more." The band are not currently on tour, but are already working towards another album.

Listen to Bleeding Rainbow's full album, Interrupt, on Spotify. The album is also available on iTunes, Amazon, and Bleeding Rainbow's official website.
